Basting Sauce

Ingredients

3/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup dry red wine
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 clove garlic, mashed
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and beat or shake until well blended. Spread liberally over steak while cooking, both before and after turning.
