Firecracker Chile Cheese Pie

Ingredients

1 cup crushed tortilla chips
3 tablespoons melted butter
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chili
2 fresh jalapeño peppers, minced
4 ounces shredded Colby cheese
4 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
chopped green onions, chopped tomatoes, and sliced black olives for garnish

Directions:

Mix crushed tortilla chips and melted butter in a bowl. Press over bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.

Beat cream cheese and eggs in a mixing bowl. Mix in green chiles, jalapeños, Colby cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Pour over baked layer. Bake at 325° for exactly 30 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes.

Place on a serving plate. Loosen side of pan with a knife and remove. Spread sour cream over pie. Garnish with green onions, tomatoes, and olives. Serve with additional chips.
