1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 extra large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecan or walnuts
1 cup chopped dates
1 powdered sugar


Mix sugar, flour, and baking powder together. Add lightly beaten eggs. Add vanilla, chopped nuts, and chopped dates. Bake in ungreased baking dish in 350° oven for 40 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cover generously with powdered sugar and cut into 2-inch squares.
