Sweet Spiced Turkey


Serves: 3

Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons water

Directions:

1. Brown ground turkey. Remove from pan.

2. Sauté onions and garlic with a little oil. Cook til onions start to brown.

3. Return turkey to pan and add all other ingredients. Mix well and simmer 5-10 minutes to blend flavors.
