Sloppy Toms

Ingredients

1 cup onion chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 pound turkey ground raw
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
butter

Directions:

1. In a 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onion and green pepper in butter for 4 minutes or until onion is transparent. Add turkey and cook for 5 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking up meat as it cooks.

2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir tomato sauce, poultry seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, lemon juice, pepper and garlic powder. Stir into skillet reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
