Veggie Burgers Parmesan


Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil
4 frozen veggie burgers, thawed
1 cup pasta tomato sauce
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese, provolone, Asiago, or a blend

Directions:

Heat the oven to 375°F. Coat the bottom of an 8- or 9-inch square baking pan with the olive oil. Place the burgers in the oil and turn over to coat on both sides. Bake until browned, about 10 minutes.

Mix the sauce and cinnamon and heat in a saucepan or in a microwave. Pour the sauce over the browned burgers. Top with the cheese and bake until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted, about 10 minutes serve.
