Gelato Affogato

Ingredients

2 small scoops vanilla-bean ice cream
2 to 4 shots hot espresso
1/3 cup lightly sweetenedsoftly whipped cream (optional)

Directions:

1. In 2 clear, sturdy drinking or juice glasses, add 1 scoop of ice cream. Pour the hot espresso over the ice cream, and top with the whipped cream, if desired.
