Crispy Cheese Wafers

Serves: 5
Total Calories: 334
Yield: 40 - 50 crisps


1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese, room temperature
1 stick margarine, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon red pepper (optional)
1 cup crispy rice cereal


Combine all ingredients well. Shape into small balls. Bake at 350° in ungreased pan 2 minutes. Remove and flatten with fork. Bake 18–20 minutes longer — do not let brown.
