Ingredients

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups crispy rice cereal
28 chocolate sandwich cookies
1 1/2 cups chocolate frosting
1 (12-ounce) package candy corn

Directions:

Melt butter in saucepan. Add marshmallows. Cook over low heat until melted, stirring constantly. Stir in the cereal. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. With buttered hands, form cereal into 28 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Twist apart the sandwich cookies. Spread frosting on each cookie half and use 28 halves as the base for each turkey.

Place each cereal ball on top of a frosted cookie half, pressing to adhere. Press 3 pieces of candy corn in a fan pattern on each remaining cookie half. Press each cookie half into a cereal ball to form a tail. Attach candy corn with frosting to form the turkey’s head.
