Arrange apples in a greased baking dish. Pour orange juice over apples. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and butter to make a crumbly mixture. Spread over apples. Bake at 350° until apples are tender and crust is lightly browned, about 45 minutes.
Variation: For a nutty flavor, add 1/4 cup rolled oats and an additional tablespoon butter to flour mixture.
