Hank's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef, brown and set aside
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1 can tomato purée (large)
2 cups water
1 bay leaf
Tabasco® hot pepper sauce, to taste
1 cup sliced mushrooms

Directions:

Saute the onion, bell pepper, and garlic in olive oil until transparent. Combine the meat and onion mixture. Add pureed tomatoes, water, bay leaf, and Tabasco™. Simmer for 4-5 hours. Thirty minutes before done, add mushrooms.
