Proceed with instructions for Turkey Bone Soup with Spaetzle with the exception of the spaetzle. When the vegetables are tender, add sour cream mixed with milk to soup. Slowly add instant potato flakes or leftover mashed potatoes until desired thickness, stirring constantly.
Note: If freezing any soup, do so before adding sour cream, milk, and potatoes.
