Tangy Hot Tomato Juice

Ingredients

1 (46-ounce) can tomato juice
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can consomme condensed
2 teaspoons onions grated
1 teaspoon horseradish
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
dash white pepper
1 lemon sliced into 8 slices
24 cloves whole

Directions:

Combine tomato juice, consomme, onion, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce and pepper in large saucepan. Stud each lemon slice with 3 cloves add to juice and heat just to boiling. Serve at once with one lemon slice in each cup.
