Quick Chili

Serves: 4
Total Calories: 264


1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 (16-ounce) can kidney beans undrained
1 cup water
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt


In large skillet or heavy saucepan brown meat. Add onion cook until tender drain off drippings. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. If desired, top with shredded Cheddar cheese, green onion slices, crumbled bacon, sour cream, chopped chili peppers, or avocado slices.
