Chicken broth
1 cup water cold
1/2 cup flour
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Strain broth in which chicken was cooked and measue 4 cups. Place broth in a medium saucepan. In a small jar with a lid mix cold water and flour; cover and shake well. Stir flour mixture into broth in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with Stewed Chicken and Dumplings.
