Ingredients

1 large loaf crusty bread
1 onion, finely chopped
1 to 2 teaspoon oil
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 (7 3/4-ounce) cans salmon, drained
3 to 4 tablespoons sour cream
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon fresh dill weed, chopped

Directions:

Slice the top from bread loaf. Hollow out center, tearing bread into cubes; set aside. Sauté onion with oil in a medium saucepan. When onion is soft, place in a medium bowl; blend in remaining ingredients. Spoon mixture into hollow loaf; replace bread lid and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Add reserved bread cubes to baking sheet; bake both for an additional 30 minutes. Serve dip with warmed bread cubes.

It’s easy to craft a personalized ornament that’s ready in no time at all. Apply rub-on letters, found in a scrapbooking store, to plain ornaments...finish off with a ribbon.
