Ham and Swiss Pork Chops

Ingredients

6 pork chops
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
12 fresh bay leaves
6 slices ham
2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
1 cup grated Swiss cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a frying pan, brown pork chops in butter 2–3 minutes on each side. Set on a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

In a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, layer pork chops, bay leaves, ham, sage, and cheese. Cover and bake 25 minutes. Makes 4–6 servings.
