Deep Dish Tacos

Ingredients

1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup biscuit mix
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 pound ground beef browned and drained
1 medium tomato thinly sliced
1/2 cup green bell pepper chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese, and onion. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix biscuit mix and water until a soft dough forms. Press dough on bottom and up the sides of a greased 8 x 8-inch pan. Layer beef, tomato, and bell pepper over dough. Spoon sour cream mixture over top. Bake 25–30 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
