French Baguette with Cheese

Ingredients

1 loaf baguette, cut into slices
melted butter or olive oil
a few garlic cloves
cheese choices (soft cheeses work best)
chevre (goat cheese)
whipped cream cheese (plain for flavored)
cotija cheese, crumbled
feta, crumbled feta cheese
thinly sliced mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Preheat flat top griddle on medium high heat. While griddle is heating brush each slice of bread with melted butter.

Place buttered side up on the grill for 1-2 minutes, then flip and cook another few minutes or until golden brown.

As soon as the bread comes off the grill, rub with a clove of garlic.

While bread is still warm, sprinkle with cheese. Serve immediately.

Optional: You could also sprinkle on some fresh chopped herbs.
