12 TO 16 SERVINGS, ABOUT 1/2 CUP
1 cup powdered sugar
1 - 2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or clear vanilla
Mix powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk and the vanilla. Stir in additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until smooth and consistency of thick syrup. Glazes top of one 12-cup bundt cake, 10-inch angel food cake or 13 x 9-inch cake.
Betty's Tip White glazes and frostings that call for milk will look whiter and less translucent if you use whole milk, half-and-half or cream.
