Fried Fish (Pescada frita)


Serves: 6

Ingredients

6 slices fish steaks
1 cup flour
4 tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup cooking oil
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions:

Wash, and marinate fish for 1 hour in lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Dip fish in flour and shake off excess.

Heat together butter and cooking oil. Fry fish over heat and turn when browned.

Place on absorbent paper and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Serve it plain or with Shrimp Sauce or with lemon wedge and potatoes fried in butter.
