Dutch Apple Pie

Ingredients

3 cups sliced apples
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg, beaten
1 cup light cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:

Place apples into unbaked pie shell. Mix together sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Combine egg, cream, and vanilla; add sugar mixture, mixing well. Pour over apples, then sprinkle with nuts and dot with butter. Bake at 350° for 45–50 minutes, until apples are tender.
