Ingredients

4 cups chopped raw broccoli
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 cup green seedless grape
1 cup red seedless grape
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup good quality mayonnaise
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/2 pound bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
2/3 cup sliced or slivered almonds, toasted

Directions:

Toss together the vegetables and grapes in a large salad bowl. Mix the sugar, mayonnaise, and vinegar in a separate small bowl to make dressing; pour dressing over vegetables and grapes and stir gently to allow dressing to coat evenly. Refrigerate overnight before serving, if time allows, for flavor to mix. Just before serving, add crumbled bacon and toasted almonds.
