Oven Barbecued Chicken

Ingredients

5 - 6 pounds chicken thighs
garlic powder
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup pineapple juice
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 cup white vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce

Directions:

Wash chicken thighs and pat dry. Sprinkle with garlic powder and let set for about 5 minutes. Dip chicken in beaten eggs. Fry until nearly done. Spray large oven pan with non-stick spray. Mix together the granulated sugar, juice, ketchup, vinegar, and soy sauce. Put chicken in pan and pour the sauce over chicken. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake 30–45 minutes in 300° oven, or until sauce is thick. Put chicken on platter and spoon remaining sauce over top.
