In medium bowl, cream butter and sugar together till fluffy. Stir in egg yolk, and mix well. Gradually add flour, and stir till a stiff dough forms. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Whisk egg white till frothy; dip balls in beaten egg white, then roll in sesame seeds. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15–20 minutes.
