Thaw fish, if frozen; rinse, and pat dry. Sprinkle fish with garlic powder. Combine butter, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a shallow dish. Marinate fish in butter mixture 15 minutes. Place fillets in lightly greased broiler pan; broil 3–4 inches from heat for about 10 minutes, turning once. Fish are done when they flake easily with a fork. Garnish with paprika, if desired.
