Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Place cereal in medium bowl. In double boiler over simmering water, melt caramels with milk and butter, stirring occasionally; remove from heat. Using a fork or skewer, quickly dip marshmallows into caramel mixture, then roll in cereal. Place on prepared baking sheet; chill 30 minutes. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
