Apple Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups chopped peeled apples, divided
1 can (8 count) refrigerated cinnamon roll
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons corn syrup

Directions:

Grease a deep-dish pie plate, and spread 1 cup apples in bottom. Separate dough into 8 rolls, and cut each roll into 4 pieces; place in large bowl with remaining 1/2 cup apples.

Preheat oven to 350°. In small bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup, and mix well. Add this mixture to roll pieces in bowl, and toss gently to coat. Spoon over apples in pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until deep golden brown. Microwave icing container (from roll package), uncovered, on HIGH for 15 seconds or until smooth. Drizzle over cake.
