In a medium skillet, combine almonds with remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat till butter melts, then stir and remove from heat. Drop by half teaspoonfuls, 3 inches apart, onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 8 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Remove from baking sheet with broad spatula and roll around the handle of a wooden spoon. If cookies become hard on sheet, return to oven for a few minutes to soften.
