Dissolve brown sugar in amaretto. Blend with ice cream in blender till smooth. Fill wine or parfait glasses 3/4 full; freeze. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and a cherry.
Fun Fact: A nice finishing touch to an evening cocktail party is a dessert buffet and a selection of coffees and teas. Fun to have after-the-theatre cocktail party in which coffee drinks, such as Irish coffee, are served along with a selection of desserts.
