Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Ingredients

1/2 pound rib eye, partially frozen
1 medium onion, sliced thinly
1/2 green pepper, sliced thinly
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
salt and coarsely ground black pepper
4 provolone cheese slices or 1/2 cup Cheese Whiz, melted
2 Kaiser or hoagie rolls
pickled peppers or dill pickle spears

Directions:

Slice cold meat thinly. Sauté onion and pepper slices in oil in cast iron skillet or on grill top; add steak slices and cook until meat lightly browns; add salt and pepper to taste. Heap cooked mixture on two sides of pan; divide cheese over meat until melted. Slice rolls lengthwise. Using a spatula, scoop each mixture and lay on bread bottoms with cheese on top. Cover, slice, and serve with pickles.
