Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water (105° to 115° F) with 1 teaspoon sugar let set until foamy, 5 to 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl turn dough to coat surface. Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, until doubled, about 45 to 60 minutes. Bake in a preheated 375° F oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until loaf is golden and sounds hollow when tapped. Remove from pan cool on a wire rack.
