Hot Bacon Dressing


Serves: 15

Ingredients

4 - 5 slices bacon
1 large egg
1 tablespoon flour (heaping)
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash black pepper
cider vinegar to taste
1 1/2 cups cold water

Directions:

Cut bacon in pieces and fry until crisp. Remove from pan and drain. Mix egg, flour, granulated sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar (add by the tablespoon to taste) and water. Pour mixture into the frying pan. With heat set at medium, stir the mixture constantly until it thickens and begins to boil slowly.

Remove from heat when thick. Add drained bacon and ladle over salad greens; toss lightly.
