Country Coleslaw

Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage, shredded (8 cups)
1 - 2 medium onion, diced (2 cups)
3 tablespoons chopped canned pimiento, drained
6 tablespoons chopped green bell peppers
3/4 cup white vinegar
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1 heaping tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
salt to taste

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except salt, blend well, and barely cover with boiling water. Let stand for one hour. Pack into jars and refrigerate overnight. Drain and salt lightly before serving.
