Cranberry-Orange Sauce


Serves: 5

Yield: 2 Cups

Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
3 tablespoons maple syrup or to taste

Directions:

1. Bring the cranberries, orange juice, and orange zest to boil in a 2-quart saucepan. Reduce the heat to a medium-low and simmer 5 to10 minutes, or until the cranberries are soft.

2. Turn off the heat and stir in the maple syrup.

3. Serve warm. Refrigerate any leftovers.

For a Change . . .
• Add more maple syrup for a sweeter sauce.
