1 1/2 cups butter, softened
2 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste
1 (16-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (16-ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons dried oregano
garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
10 English muffins, split
Garnish: browned sausage or ground beef, crumbled bacon, diced ham sliced mushrooms, diced green pepper, diced onion, chopped broccoli, pineapple tidbits

In a bowl, blend butter, tomato paste, cheeses, sugar and seasonings. Spread desired amount over muffin halves; add desired toppings. Toppings may instead be stirred into butter mixture before spreading over muffins. Place muffins on ungreased baking sheets. Broil until golden and bubbly, about 5 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.

Tip: Invite family & friends over for a Game Night. After enjoying a casual supper together, bring out all the old favorite board games. Don’t forget to supply silly prizes and big bowls of buttered popcorn as the evening goes on!
