Scallops En Brochette: White House

2 pounds sea scallops
bacon slices
dried bread crumb (preferably Italian)
tartar sauce


Cut each bacon slice into 4 squares. Brush scallops with oil. Dust with bread crumbs. Sprinkle with salt. Thread scallops on skewers alternating with bacon squares. Broil under high heat for about 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Serve with tartar sauce.
