Chocolate and Cherry Ring

2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
powdered sugar


In a large bowl, mix first 5 ingredients. In another bowl, combine eggs, oil, and vanilla; add to flour mixture. Mix well. Stir in cherry pie filling, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Turn into a 10-inch fluted well-greased Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool on wire rack 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool. Sift powdered sugar on top, and serve.
