walnut pâté sandwich

Ingredients

2 large leaves Romaine lettuce
1/3 cup Walnut Pâté or Pecan Pâté (recipe found in Dips, Pâtés, And Savory Sauces chapter)
1/2 cup alfalfa or clover sprouts
6 thin slices peeled cucumbers
1/4 cup peeled and shredded carrot (optional)
1 Roma tomato, sliced
1 tablespoon Sweet Mustard Dressing (recipe found in Dips, Pâtés, And Savory Sauces chapter; optional)

Directions:

rubber spatula
cutting board
peeler
serrated knife, 5-inch
measuring spoons

Spread one of the lettuce leaves with the pâté and arrange the sprouts, cucumber, optional carrot, and tomato over it. Drizzle with the dressing if desired. Put the second lettuce leaf on top. Serve immediately.
