Buried Cube Steaks

Ingredients

4* beef cubed steaks
salt and pepper, to taste
4 to 5 yellow fleshed potatoes
1 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced
2 (10 1/2-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup, condensed

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place cube steaks in bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Add salt and pepper to meat. Peel and thinly slice potatoes. Layer potatoes, then onion, over steaks. Spread soup over top. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake 70–75 minutes, or until meat is done. Makes 4–6 servings.
