Amy's Meat Filled Rolls

Serves: 6

1 pound ground beef or sausage
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
2 medium red potatoes or russet potatoes, peeled and grated
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, condensed
1/4 teaspoon garlic or celery salt
12 to 15 pre-made dinner rolls
12 to 15 slices Cheddar cheese


Cook meat, onion, and potatoes together in a large frying pan on mediumhigh heat 15 minutes, or until meat is thoroughly browned and potatoes are tender. Stir soup and salt into mixture and set aside.

Scoop out centers of rolls, then fill with meat mixture. Place rolls evenly over a baking sheet and top with a slice of cheddar cheese. Broil in oven 2–3 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Makes 6–8 servings.
