Coat the meat in the flour and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown meat in shortening. Arrange in a shallow baking dish. Sauté onions in the same skillet; pour over meat. Garnish with mushrooms. Add cream and wine. Bake covered at 375° approximately 40 minutes or until tender.
Editor's Extra: Never cook with wine you wouldn’t drink. If it doesn’t taste good, it’s not going to make the recipe taste good either.
