Quick Enchilada Casserole

1 (9-ounce) package corn chips
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
1 (1-pound) can chili with beans
grated American cheese


Place corn chips in bottom of a greased casserole. Top with onions. Pour in chili. Cover with cheese, using as much as desired. Bake at 375° for 15–20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and casserole is well heated.
