Fettuccine Alfredo

3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
cayenne pepper, to taste (optional)
2 minced garlic cloves
1 1/2 cups whole milk
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
1 (7-ounce) package noodles, cooked


In saucepan, heat butter until melted. Add flour to make roux. Add cayenne pepper, garlic, milk, and cheeses. When mixture becomes thick and creamy, pour over hot noodles.
