Easy Brown Rice

1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup raw rice
2 (10 1/2-ounce) cans beef consommé
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese


Melt butter or margarine in 3-quart casserole dish. Add raw rice. Pour 2 cans beef consommé over rice. Sprinkle with generous amount of Parmesan cheese on top. Bake 45 minutes at 350°. Check at baking time; may need more moisture if baked longer.
