Grandma's Taco Soup

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomato, with liquid
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15-ounce) can kidney or black beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15-ounce) can corn, drianed
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
sour cream
grated Cheddar cheese

Directions:

In a 3- to 4-quart pot, brown beef and onion together until crumbly and done. Drain if necessary. Stir in remaining ingredients except sour cream and cheese. Simmer over low heat 15–25 minutes. Serve over crushed tortilla chips. Garnish with sour cream and grated cheddar cheese.
