Chilled Citrus Cup

2/3 cup sugar
2 cups water
2 grapefruit, peeled, sectioned
4 oranges, peeled, sectioned
1 (15-ounce) can pineapple chunk, , undrained
1/2 cup lime juice (about 4 limes)


In a saucepan, bring sugar and 2 cups water to a boil. Simmer uncovered, for 5 minutes. Cool. Add grapefruit, oranges, pineapple, and lime juice stir lightly to coat. Cover. Refrigerate or freeze.

When ready to serve, thaw frozen mixture in refrigerator overnight. Spoon into serving dishes.
