Mother’s Dry Roasted Pecans

Serves: 5
Total Calories: 274


2 cups water
1/4 cup salt
2 cups pecans, halved


Mix water and salt well. Add pecans and let soak 3 hours. Drain pecans well on paper towels. Spread evenly on cookie sheet. Bake in 325° oven for 25–30 minutes. Stir and check pecans after they have baked for 20 minutes. Cool.
