Ingredients

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
3 (15-ounce) cans whole green beans, drained
1/2 pound sliced bacon, halved

Directions:

Melt sugar, butter, Worcestershire, and garlic powder in small saucepan over medium-high heat; set aside. Bundle 6 beans together with 1?2 strip of bacon; secure bacon with a toothpick; place on a baking sheet. Spoon butter mixture over bundles. Cover baking sheet and allow to marinate overnight in refrigerator. Uncover bean bundles and bake 40 minutes at 350°.

Editor's Extra: Consider bundling fewer beans in 1/2 strips of bacon. Or cut the beans in half for a smaller bundle, then tie with small strips of bacon cut both ways.
