Apple Upside-Down Biscuits

Ingredients

1/2 stick butter, melted
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, sliced into rings
(10-count) package frozen buttermilk biscuits, thawed
3/4 cup pineapple juice
3/4 cup granulated sugar

Directions:

Mix butter and sugar in a 9x9-inch dish and pat smoothly. Place apple rings on top. Place in a 350° oven for 10 minutes. Remove dish from oven. Dip thawed biscuits in pineapple juice; roll in granulated sugar. Place biscuits on apple rings. Return to oven; bake 25 minutes, or until biscuits are brown and bubbly.
